Puj Tub :: A snug, cozy fit in our sink for the first 4 months, then I laid it flat in the tub for a shallow bath once Evelyn was rolling over.
Hooded towels :: There is nothing cuter than a babe in a hooded towel.
Washcloths :: This six pack is sweet & soft.
Soap, Shampoo, & Lotion :: Newborn skin is sensitive, and Evelyn broke into a rash the first time we put lotion on her skin. After that we stuck to Aquaphor soap & shampoo at our doctor’s recommendation and added Baby Magic lotion again when she was older. It smells so. so. good.
Diapers :: Pampers Swaddlers have been our pick since Evie was born. We buy them on Amazon using Prime + Amazon Mom. We end up with a 20% discount and free 2-day shipping on everything. Our estimated budget for diapers was double what we actually spend on diapers thanks to these deals. (We also buy all our toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, shampoo, etc… on Amazon too. A huge lifesaver for this mama.)
Diaper Wipes :: I feel strongly that Huggies makes the best wipes. They work really well, and we can tear them in half for smaller wipe jobs.
Changing Pad :: The contoured pad is a simple choice, and we added two covers on top and a set of waterproof liners. Keep track of the dimensions if you are shopping for a dresser to place it on. It can be a challenge to find the right depth.
Diaper Dekor Plus :: Don’t start using this until your baby eats solid food, and even then only use it for “dirty” diapers. Wet diapers just go in a normal trash can. The refill packs are a little expensive, so this method helps us save money, while still eliminating bad odors (and they can be bad). Eventually, it can convert to a normal white trash can.
