It’s here!!! The Influence Network is up and running, and honestly it is better than I could have imagined. I am humbly honored to be part of this venture, working on a team with crazy-talented and lovely women. The site includes online classes, downloads, forums, and business and community services. My role is to manage The Influence Blog and build up a team of contributors who can bring you valuable, timely, encouraging content.
I know that women my age will be online in some form or another. I have been on (and off and then back on) Facebook for a decade, do most of my shopping online, and remember when AIM was what kept me awake in the wee hours during college. Influence was built to meet you where you are and help you make your online life mean something. The goal is that each time you shut your laptop, you don’t wonder if you are frittering your time away. You can join a generation that leads women to impact others on and offline.
You will find me writing over on The Influence Blog, along with a group of seriously fantastic women. Because of this new role, I’ll be publishing three posts each week on this space. I am choosing to bring you quality content and not overwhelm your inbox or reader. I also need to carry my influence well, especially at home, and more frequent posts would be burdensome for my family.
Please check out the site, if you haven’t already, and let me know what you think. If you are a member – I’d love to connect with you. I’ll be at the Influence Conference this fall, and I love that we have 9 months to connect and engage before meeting in real life. This month, I’m taking the “Making the Most of Your Twenties” and “Basic Tips for Studying God’s Word” classes. Anyone else joining me there?
