Last year for my birthday I asked for one thing – a chambray shirt. They hadn’t quite exploded into all the stores (now even Target has some fantastic ones.), so I had my eye on one from J.Crew called “the keeper.” I loved the fit, fabric, and timeless design.
Guys – it never goes on sale.
I usually only shop sales.
So, it was such an extravagant gift when my husband took me to buy it in the store.
As I tried it on in the dressing room, one of the sales-people showed me an easy styling trick to roll the sleeves up. The most subtle change can take your outfit from typical to eye-catching. Use this trick with any camp-style shirt in your closet.
roll up the cuff and the same length of sleeve as the cuff.
fold the cuff back down over that fabric
continue rolling, keeping the cuff out, and tucking the sleeve fabric in,
until you reach the tab
button that tab!
end result: you see the cute cuff and not the underside of the sleeve
