It is crazy to believe we are halfway through this pregnancy already. Today marks 20 weeks, and if you want to see a baby bump shot + find out what we’re having – hop over and follow me on instagram @lindseykubly.
The weeks seem to be flying by the second time around, markedly different from my pregnancy with Evelyn. I have only hopped on babycenter.com a handful of times over the past four months, versus multiple times each week. While I think about this new baby often, my mind is full with my still-a-baby girl who keeps growing and changing before my eyes.
I feel really grateful to have had pretty smooth pregnancies so far. Intense fatigue plagues me during the first trimester, but not much morning sickness. Although pregnancy is different for each woman, I’m sharing a few of my staples that ease some of the discomfort along the way. Later I’ll share my few maternity wardrobe purchases, but for now I’m still wearing all my regular clothes. You truly don’t need as much as “the experts” say you do, but having a few items to pamper yourself goes a long way.
.. Hot & Cold clay heating pad when my lower back muscles tighten up.
.. Clinique acne solutions kit since my hormones, emotions and face act like I’m a teenager again.
.. Dr. Brown’s extra dry ginger ale because it tastes SO good.
.. L’Occitane pure shea butter to prevent stretch marks. It worked like a gem the first time.
