Evelyn is now four months past her first birthday. She has a much fuller head of hair. She can walk. Her vocabulary is growing exponentially. Her mouth is full of tiny teeth, after we endured the confusing, painful weeks of teething. She has a few waiters at local spots wrapped around her finger – thanks to her charming use of the word “hi.”
Four months past her birthday…. Yet, I am just getting around to posting these beautiful pictures taken by one of our dearest friends. I’m compiling them into a little Pinhole Press photo book, and couldn’t resist sharing a few here. Nothing like a pregnancy nearing a close to kick it into high gear and do something with all our firstborn’s photos.
Amanda and I met up at our local cupcake shop in March, each bringing a daughter to enjoy a treat. Evelyn devoured the icing and most of the cupcake as well. Amanda, who my husband and I secretly refer to as “the baby whisperer,” even coaxed some classic expressions and smiles out of her (right in the middle of teething). Those captured shots are making my mama heart swoon.
