Today is the day!
Through my last trimester of pregnancy, I decided to tackle a goal I had contemplated for a few months – writing an eBook for introverts. As my belly grew bigger and bigger, I spent my spare moments researching, writing, and editing. I even hinted about it on Instagram a few times.
I am thrilled that today is the launch day, and I get to share this book with you!
I Like People Too: A Field Guide for Introverts was written in response to a sold-out online class I taught earlier this year. After spending months researching introversion and exploring my past in connection with that research, I shared my findings with 50 women (and a few men).
The feedback was overwhelming. So many introverts had similar experiences and attributes, but they felt alone. Society had them convinced they were socially awkward or “less than” because of the way they approached life. The class provided a “Me too!” experience. After seeing how life-giving the class was, I chose to expand my research to create an eBook. I could answer questions in more depth, share more strategies and facts, and include the same experience of belonging and positivity on every page.
I Like People Too was written to help introverts more fully understand their temperament. The book includes chapters about building community, the biology of the brain, interacting with extroverts, attending a big social event (like a blogging conference), and much more. You will find 50 pages packed with information, personal stories, and action steps. More than anything though, you can face the world as the member of a tribe with the chance to embrace the beauty of your personality and quieter voice.
