–UPDATED FROM THE KUBLY GIRL ARCHIVE–
UPDATE: After having Tommy and my six-week checkup I’m starting these DVDs again. The post-pregnancy DVD and walking seriously toned my body last time around (and I didn’t start until Evie was 5 months old). Now that I know the possible results, I can’t wait to start again.
With an impending cold winter and two kids underfoot, these DVDs work for my life. I work out while Evie is playing next to me and Tommy is asleep. Usually she ends up trying to do the moves too and is entertained for an hour in the process. Added bonus? The price just dropped on Amazon to under seven bucks.
The moves are unique and knit my muscles together into a feminine form. Tracy says that the day after you work out, you should feel ache-y, like when you have the flu. This is because she works all the minor muscle groups, instead of the major ones (like quads, biceps, etc.) No bulk – love that.
However, the workout is one continuous chapter, so it is difficult to jump around on the DVD if you are a multi-tasking mom. I bought, but have yet to try, the dance cardio – mainly because I am self-conscious and have a 20 month-old for an audience.
