For our final gift guide, I’ve collected my favorites for women. I think truly great gifts are useful and beautiful. The very best gifts for women feel a little indulgent, like shower oil, a fantastic book, art, or flannel pajamas, but they also get used or seen daily. (Hint: Email this post to your hubby to get something lovely under the tree this year!)
15 TRIED + TRUE GIFTS SHE WILL LOVE
In Bloom Book Collection ($12 each)
Get her a collection of gorgeous clothbound books designed by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co. I have resisted buying these for awhile, but they’re so classic and I can’t wait to read them to Evelyn someday. I have a feeling I won’t be able to resist much longer. Buy her one, like Anne of Green Gables, or grab all four for less than $50.
Noonday Collection Helena Necklace ($58)
The laurel-inspired necklace, made in India, pairs perfectly with a grey sweatshirt or underneath a flannel shirt. It has been my favorite piece of jewelry for months now.
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil ($25)
Ahhh. This stuff is incredible. The oil starts sudsing as you use it in the shower, and it leaves your skin glossy and soft. It smells so good.
Capri Blue Volcano Candle ($28)
Make her house smell as delicious as Anthropologie. The mercury jar is pretty in its own right, too.
fashionABLE Tigist Leather Clutch ($78)
Pretty much the perfect gift for any woman on your shopping list. The size is spot on, and I love carrying it.
Naptime Diaries Canvas ($85)
Gift her a piece of art, inspired by Scripture, for her walls. When this Psalm 130 print is blown up onto a large canvas, the brush strokes remind me of multihued flower petals. The canvas comes ready to hang right out of the box.
Everlane Silk Round Collar Shirt ($78)
I can’t resist a peter pan collar, and this 100% silk version is perfect for layering under sweaters or grey sweatshirts (my fave). Ethically manufactured by a company who is revolutionizing Black Friday to boot.
The Rosie Project ($10)
My favorite novel from 2014, I loved this story.
Glass Jewelry Box ($31)
Perfect for stowing everyday jewelry on a dresser like artwork.
Minnetonka Suede Ankle Boot ($45)
I opened these boots on Christmas morning last year, and wore them every day last winter, no joke. They kept my feet dry and comfy, and you just can’t beat that price.
Lindsay Letters Epic Black Floral Canvas ($107+)
My jaw dropped when I saw this gorgeous canvas in Lindsay’s holiday lookbook. It is the perfect way to add flowers to your room year-round, and for just $25 you can add a frame to any canvas.
Marble Cutting Board ($49)
This may not be a traditional gift you would think of, but it was at the top of my list since we moved into our new home and needed to cover an unsightly hole in our countertops. The marble is beautiful and worth keeping out for everyday use.
Darling Magazine Subscription ($80)
Darling Magazine is about the art of being a woman. If you’re not sure if this is the right gift for your girl, just read their mission. It fires me up every time, and I think you’ll be convinced. Their “real, not retouched” campaign is one of the things I am most excited about for the next generation of women (and mine!). They NEVER use Photoshop to alter women’s faces or bodies. Gift one issue or any entire year’s worth.
Smartwool Popcorn Socks ($22)
Cute and toasty warm wool for your feet.
Flannel Pajama Set ($44)
I can’t resist flannel as soon as the temperature drops. Sure, it’s easy to wear that old college tee to bed, but I’m learning what a luxury it is to wear a pajama set. Give her these on Christmas Eve so she has a cute outfit to wear for opening gifts in the morning.
