Thank you for all your sweet words about this new little Kubly baby! It means the world. I’m not sure if it is the third pregnancy or having two toddlers this time around, but the first trimester feelings of fatigue and nausea have dragged all the way out to 20 weeks. I’m hoping to get some energy back soon to soak in the fall weather and keep up with the kids. I really couldn’t have made it this far without Zach’s support and constant willingness to give me a break to rest. He’s the best, always. Here are a few things I’ve noticed and loved over the past couple months…
My favorite summer dessert. I always have the ingredients on hand! (With raspberries, I add a pinch of cinnamon. If you have cherries add a drop or two of almond extract.)
What do you think about hats on the wall? I’m thinking about trying it out in our entry, which looks a little like this.
The short-sleeve shirtdress from Everlane is perfection. The fabric is soft and the best shade of blue. Plus, it’s nursing-friendly for next summer too! I have another Everlane review post in the works, too. Stay tuned.
Can’t stop snacking on Trader Joe’s Triple Ginger Snaps. The crystallized ginger sets them apart.
This is the first pregnancy I’ve used a maternity body pillow, and it is crazy comfortable. I’m a big fan now, and I’m sure it will only get more cozy the bigger I get. (If you want a cheaper version, I’ve just used a $9 body pillow from Target in the past. They’re easy to find with all the college dorm essentials right now.)
Zach and I have been listening to The Liturgists podcast. While we don’t agree with everything they say (in fact we strongly disagree with a few things), it has given us a lot to talk about at the end of the night when the kids are tucked in bed.
This side table is just as good in person as I hoped it would be. It makes me want to add a couple more small side tables, since I always have a coffee cup or little snack in hand.
I think my hair is almost long enough to try this ponytail. Isn’t it pretty?
