This weekend, we are celebrating my grandma’s 88th birthday! I’m looking forward to time with my extended family since we won’t be able to travel to see them for Thanksgiving this year. I’ll be 37 weeks along by then, and probably not much room left for turkey and mashed potatoes. To kick off the weekend, here are a few favorite things I’ve come across recently:
Lately, I’ve been playing around on Pinterest for a few projects. I built one board for my mom, who needed a wardrobe update for fancier dinners and a pretty dress for an upcoming wedding. Then when she came to town last week to visit, we looked the board over together and headed out shopping. We even found some perfect black jeans and ankle boots for her. I think we might tackle cleaning out her closet while I’m visiting her this weekend.
Zach and I have started gearing up for his tax busy season. We’re moving his office out of the guest room, since it will be busy with our moms after the baby comes, to a quieter room in the basement. Previously that room was full of tools, leftovers from the old owners, and boxes. I built an office pinboard, so he and I could easily figure out what he needed and how to make it feel less basement-y. We’ve been working on it after the kids go to bed, and I think I will always love organizing a room.
Have a lovely weekend! xoxo.
