September has been really good for us. A little slower on the weekends, a little cooler. We’re finding our groove and wrapping projects up with winter + hibernation mode approaching (Too soon? Maybe, but I can feel it as soon as the first chilly morning dawns.) We got a taste of my hometown fair. It’s the best time of year at the zoo, so we’ve been going there a lot. The mosquitoes have just started to bite the dust which makes me happy to no end. I love this time of year to prune our garden, go on evening walks, and hang out at parks. Fall is so lovely!
Fell totally in love with Adele Yonchak’s art.
This month I moved Evie and Tommy into a room together. Thankfully it’s become really sweet and cozy for them! I’ve always loved rooms with two twin beds (and when everyone in the house sleeps better).
Pinksourcing. So funny, so serious, so sad.
I can’t wait to read Jenny Rosenstrach’s new book after totally devouring her first two. How to Celebrate Everything sounds like just the book we need to start some traditions + rituals as young family.
Everlane has been releasing lots of new pieces lately. The updated City Anorak was tempting, even though I have and love the original version. I tried the Tube Ponte Skirt, but ended up returning it (Zach still wishes I kept it, so maybe I should have?) I did order and keep the Luxe Wool Square Turtleneck. The fabric is SO good and the turtleneck is going to be the coziest for a cold winter.
Extra large printable posters of antique paintings from Sycamore Street Press.
A beautiful, real-life adoption love story.
The coolest cabin. The stairs! That couch!
I’d love to ask: Is there anything you’d like to see on the blog this month? Still interested in gift guides this holiday season? How has your September been?
