This morning we ventured out to the zoo and for the first time we needed to throw on some long sleeve layers. It was magical. For weeks, it’s been almost too hot to get out of the house, and the mosquito situation has been out of control with all the rain we’ve had. The way Indiana weather goes, one day it is hot, hot, hot and the very next morning, it is time to pull out sweaters. It can really sneak up on you!
We only needed long sleeves until about 10:30am when the sun broke through, and we stripped off the sweaters for our t-shirts underneath. September, I love you.
Here are a few layered looks for these end of summer days…
… with my cute little soccer player, who snuck into this shot with his best buddy, giraffe-y.
…with a good book.
…excited for my favorite temps, the 70s. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend! We’re looking forward to a knight party for our little boy’s third birthday and heading to my hometown country fair.
