I’ve been slowly upgrading my pajama drawer this month. While I cleaned out my mish mash of college tees a few years ago, finding a comfortable replacement has been tricky. Most of what I actually wore to sleep was meh, leftovers. I ended up feeling schlumpy in the morning while getting the kids going for the day. While I had a couple pairs of nicer pajamas, I seldom wore them because they seemed too nice. This is so often the case of having too much stuff…. I end up “saving” what I actually like for “someday,” instead of using and enjoying it.
Then I asked you, dear readers, what you thought of your sleepwear situation and it finally dawned on me….just like a couple of you, I need options. I rely on uniforms in my everyday dressing, but since the temperature can change so much at night in an old house in Indiana, it’s ideal to switch things up.
My goal is to be comfy when sleeping and cute for early mornings making breakfast for the kids. After shopping around, here are the sleepwear options I love so far.
I also really like to throw on a soft robe in the morning for grabbing my first cup of coffee. In the winter I switch it up slightly and love flannel pajamas and a great big chunky wool cardigan. Ok, what about you? What do you wear to sleep? A uniform or do you switch it up too? I’m slowly but surely overhauling my own drawer and it’s dreamy how nice one new set of pajamas feels.
ps: This was the first pair I bought.
